Infrastructure Improvement in Your Community
UGI’s commitment to safely deliver energy to our customers and the communities we serve requires occasional infrastructure extension and upgrades.
As part of UGI’s infrastructure improvement program, more than 60 miles of cast iron and bare steel mains will be replaced with mains constructed of contemporary materials such as high density plastic or cathodically protected steel. Approximately 87 percent of UGI’s system is already made of this contemporary material.
UGI also conducts ongoing projects to accommodate future system growth and maintain existing facilities and equipment, including service line and meter replacements, and regulator station work.
