UGI Acknowledges the Importance of Women’s Rights and Diversity in the Workplace

UGI Utilities honors International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. International Women’s Day 2022 focuses on a world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality and #BreakTheBias.

UGI’s Women’s Impact Network (WIN) is an employee resource group that aims to impact the world by inspiring women into greatness, by leading them into understanding and valuing their uniqueness. WIN focuses on fostering an enriched environment to recruit, retain, develop and advance our female leaders. Membership in WIN offers exposure to various professional development opportunities, including speaker series events, group engagement activities, virtual group discussions, and partnerships with local organizations. At UGI, we can do more than recognize the importance of women’s rights on one day of the year. Our challenge is this: look for ways to join the conversation and encourage the continued movement toward equality.
